Job Description - Senior Developer:
The position will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions for CTIS, which is a CMMi Level 3 certified company and uses RUP methodology for software development lifecycle. The position will work closely with the business community to perform technical analysis for designing solutions, evaluating options that include but are not limited to: new program development, configuration of existing systems, new package/system evaluation or a combination of these options. Has an emphasis for designing solutions that balance business need and technical complexity. Has experience working in entire development lifecycle for a product/application, including both back-end and front-end development. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid education and a desire to work for a fast-paced, medium sized corporate organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves" attitude.
The responsibilities include:
Project-related Responsibilities:
Understand regulatory/health care business concepts and practices
Work independently on high complexity applications.
Establish functional and technical specifications and estimate effort that accurately reflect the design requirements and standards
Facilitate design meetings with users, management and architects
Follow and help to establish architectural standards
Analyze database constructs and create database design specifications associated with new development or enhancements
Create functional code from design specifications for new development, enhancements or maintenance projects
Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems
Ensure integration of entire system or subsystem
Prepare test data, test, and document results for unit testing.
Create and deliver documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented efforts.
Support existing systems following documented procedures for change control and issue tracking and prioritize and escalate issues
Analyze production issues as necessary to determine the cause of the issue and determine the necessary course of action for resolution.
Provide customer support and conduct customer training as required.
Participate in planning schedules and arranging own activities
Functional Responsibilities:
Regularly contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
Apply expertise and possess knowledge of related disciplines
Conduct seminars and presentations on topics of interest to the Software Development Group
Understanding of following technical concepts/tools/etc.:
Software lifecycle methodology
Basic relational database concepts
Software development and implementation – web and client server technologies
Data modeling and development tools
RUP Methodology

Required Skills :
Should hold a bachelor degree in Computer Science or other related field and 10+ years .NET web development experience, OR,.

Should hold a Masters degree in non Computer Science related field and 9+ years .NET web development experience, OR
Should hold a Masters degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years .NET web development experience, OR
Should have advanced knowledge on Oracle/SQL Server Database
